The following post features a hard-to-find collection of rather amusing poems published in Baghdad in 1927 by a Royal Air Force officer who was stationed in Iraq as part of the British mandate in the country at the time. The poems, dedicated to specific personnel and aspects of life in the Royal Air Force, feature rhymes and are written in various kinds of meter. I feature the pages of the publication below with occasional annotations of my own.
